This is alongside the faculties of Humanities and Sciences. The academic staff of the department is made up of quite some intelligent, self-motivated and diligent young people with Mr. Ufomba Okechukwu as the pioneer head of department. The undergraduate programmes of the department are run in line with both the NUC Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards (BMAS) in Administration and the Adventist Accreditation Association (AAA) and International Board of Education (IBE) standards.
The department is administered through the committee system with the most important committee being the Department Board of Studies. This committee comprises the entire academic staff of the department with the head of department as Chair. On admission, every student is assigned an Academic Adviser who counsels him/her from admission to graduation. The academic advisers are counselors, to the students academically, socially, and morally so that our graduates may be found worthy in both character and learning.
