CHRISTIAN  RELIGIOUS STUDIES Two ‘A’ level passes in Christian Religious Studies/Religious Studies and any other Arts subject. Five credit passes in English Language, CRK and three other relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Christian Religious Knowledge and any other two related Arts subjects Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics
ENGLISH LANGUAGE i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English and one other Arts subject. ii) NCE (Merit grade) in English Language iii) OND in relevant field not below Upper credit grade iv) HND in relevant field not below Lower Credit grade Five credit passes in Literature in English and English Language, one other Arts subject and any other two or three subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. HISTORY AND DIPLOMATIC STUDIES A) Diploma in History or any other related discipline obtained from Clifford or other institutions recognized by Clifford with an overall pass of at least merit level B) GCE A/level certificate with a minimum of two subjects including History or Government with at least a “D” grade in each subject. C) The National Certificate of Education (NCE) with merit level passes in at least two subjects that should include History or Government. D) OND (Upper credit) in relevant disciplines. E) JUPEB graduates of Clifford University or other JUPEB affiliated institutions would be considered. WAEC, SSCE, GCE O’LEVEL, NECO other equivalent certificates with credit level passes in at least five subjects taken at not more than two sittings. The Five subjects must include English language and History/Government and any three of these subjects: Maths, CRK, French, Economics, Geography or any of the arts subjects. Any three of the following subjects from arts and social sciences: English language, History/Government, Christian Religious Studies, English literature, Economics, music, theatre arts English language, History/Government, Economics, CRS, Music, Theater Arts, geography, Igbo, French and any other subjects from the arts and the social and management sciences. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics ii) OND with Upper Credit in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirement iii) HND with at least Lower Credit in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirement iv) Final Certificate of recognized Professional bodies in addition to the UTME Requirements Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. POLITICAL SCIENCE Two ‘A’ level passes including Government or History. MASS COMMUNICATION Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English and one other arts subjects Five credit passes in English Language, one Science Subject, Mathematics and Literature in English at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. MATHEMATICS i) Two ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in Mathematics and Physics. LAW A two-year or three-year Diploma certificate plus credit passes in three (3) papers, including English Language and Literature in English in the SSCE or G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or their equivalent. Three (3) papers at principal or Advanced Level in Higher School Certificate or G.C.E. together with credit passes in English Language and Literature in Two (2) papers at Principal or Advanced Level in HSC or GCE plus credit passes in three (3) other papers (including English Language and Literature in English) in SSCE or G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or their equivalent. Five (5) Credits at not more than two sittings in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any other subject at SSCE or GCE ordinary level. An acceptable level of performance in the Joint Matriculation Admission Board Examinations as determined by the University authority.
